Open a panel’s target page or template

HMI screens often nest other pages and templates through the Template Panel and page-panel components. While building a screen, the HMI editor provides a toolbox shortcut that takes you straight to the page or template a panel references, instead of locating it manually in the project tree.

Jump to the target

1. In the HMI editor, select a template-panel or page-panel component on the page.
2. In the toolbox, use the action that opens the panel’s target.
3. The editor navigates to the referenced page or template.
4. The corresponding node is also selected in the project tree, so you can see where the target sits in the page structure.

Note

The target page or template is the one configured on the panel component (for the template panel this is the Target Template property). If no target is assigned, there is nothing to navigate to.
